- Aloe Vera is an outstanding herb that is used as natural herbal remedy for acne. The gel of aloe vera mixed with essential oils is the best ayurveda remedy for skin problems like acne. Applying aloe vera gel in a regular basis can prevent eruption of acne.
- Try to drink lukewarm water with 2 teaspoons of honey every morning on an empty stomach. This effectively lubricates the intestines. If one does not evacuate the intestines regularly, the toxins either end up in the liver or come out in the skin
- Blend a cucumber, apply externally, leave on for 20 minutes, and then wash off.
- If stress is a contributory problem for your acne, try relaxing with a cup of tea made from lavender or chamomile.
- You can prepare herbal cleansers by yourself only. To prepare that you need to add aloe vera, green tea, centella asiatica as ingredients. Try cleansing your skin gently without allowing skin to get dry. This cleanser removes clogged dirt and sebum from the skin pores.
- Using water melon is also a very effective remedy. Rub watermelon rind on the acne. Eat watermelon or drink watermelon juice.
- There are quite a few herbs available that can be mixed into a tea and consumed. You can also use the mixture to wash. Besides aloe and burdock, calendula, chickweed, dandelion, red clover, white oak bark, yellow dock, cayenne, echinacea, ginseng, redmond clay, sarsaparilla, and valarian can be used.
