Acne Scarring – Scarring develops as an acne complication when the acne forms like cysts and nodules burst damaging the skin around. It even occurs when you squeeze or pick the spots. Acne scars are of three types. They are:
- Rolling scars – Caused by a group of scar tissue formed beneath the skin, giving an uneven and rolling appearance.
- Ice-pick scars – Tiny and deep holes in the skin surface that looks like some sharp object punctured the skin.
- Boxcar scars – Oval or round depression in the surface of the skin.
