Pimples Under the Skin

Pimples and bumps under the skin are the most common problem faced by most teenagers. Several factors may trigger pimples under the skin. The primary cause of acne under the skin is the rise in hormonal levels in the puberty. Hormonal imbalance or rise in hormonal levels results oil glands to become overactive and thereby secretes excess oil. Additionally, dead skin cells and dirt also cause acne breakouts. Infection, environmental factors such as pollution or weather, clogging of the sebaceous glands or diet also results in zits under the skin. Acne under the skin is a type of acne which is referred to as sebaceous cysts. Cystic acne is a closed pocket of tissues filled with pus or fluid and appear on the skin.

Home Remedies for Pimples Under the Skin:

  • Steam:

    Apply steam on the acne afflicted area. This is the best remedy to treat deep pimples under the skin. This helps in opening up the pores of the skin and in cleaning up the clogged oils and dirt. Dab the face with soft towel to have a fresh looking skin. Now, use an antibacterial wash for cleaning the skin. Splash cold water for closing the pores. Thus, restrict the entry of dirt into the skin. Further, spray a toner over the face for tightening the pores and have a fresh and cool feel.

  • Cleanse:

    Keep the skin clean for treating pimples. One must regularly wash the acne afflicted area with an antibacterial wash. This assists in cleansing the area properly and also destroys the acne causing bacteria. One must cleanse the skin after exposing the skin to pollution and dirt, and every morning and also night. Cleansing the skin helps in removing excess oil from the skin that causes acne rashes.

  • Face mask:

    One can try several face masks to treat acne under the skin. Clay mask is very effective to treat pimples over the oily skin. This helps in removing impurities and treating pimples. Apple cider vinegar may also be applied to cure pimples. Make a facial mask with a few drops of honey and an egg white and apply it over the face. This must be applied two times in a week to cure pimples effectively.

  • Scrub:

    Gently scrub may be used for scrubbing the skin. This is an excellent idea for reducing pimples under the skin. Exfoliating the skin with a scrub helps in opening up the skin pores and removing the dead cells and dirt. Scrub granules helps in getting rid of small pimples.

  • Neem and Aloe Vera:

    Aloe vera is famous for its healing properties. Apply fresh aloe juice on the acne afflicted area and allow it to dry. Rinse with water. For best results, follow this remedy for a few days. One may also use neem facial mask. Antibacterial properties of neem helps in reducing the size of the swollen pimples and also in cleaning the skin pores. Apply neem facial mask every day to get desired results.
