Anticonvulsants – This drug is usually prescribed for the treatment of epilepsy and seizures. This drug lists acne breakout as one of its common side-effects.

Corticosteroids – This drug is prescribed for chronic lung diseases and asthma. Corticosteroids may stimulate sebum production that might lead to blemishes.
Immuran – Immuran is an immunosuppressant. It is used to suppress the immune system of patients who are awaiting an organ transplant. It may also suppress your body’s natural ability to fight the acne causing bacteria.
Quinine – This drug is commonly prescribed for the treatment of malaria. It also lists acne outbreak as one of its common symptoms.
Thyroid Medications – Thyroid medications are also known to trigger acne.
