It is mostly said that white toothpaste and not the gel ones that works well on pimples and swellings. It is great on the skin for many, but should not be kept on the face for more than an hour after cleansing. A lot of teenagers have vouched for the effectiveness of toothpaste in removing a pimple overnight. According to them, toothpaste is highly effective in removing a zit overnight or even within a few hours. Just dab a small portion of the fluoride on the offending bump and you don’t have to worry about tomorrow.
But like other unproven methods and remedies, it does have its dangers. For one, toothpaste might not work for everybody. It could result in burns, particularly on sensitive skin. It has been reported that repeated use of this product can cause the skin to dry. Irritation is also likely to result while using toothpaste to remove a pimple.
