During pregnancy a woman undergoes many physical changes and one such change is getting acne. Acne is common problem in pregnant women. In some cases the pregnant woman may get acne all over her face.
The main reasons for pregnancy acne and pimples are:
Increase in the progesterone hormone levels: The progesterone hormone increases the secretions in the skin glands, and this causes acne.
Dehydration: When a pregnant woman fails to take the sufficient amount of water it may lead to acne and pimples.
Tips for Pregnant Women to Deal with Pregnancy Acne
You have to drink at least 8 glasses of water in a day. The more water you take in the healthier your skin would be.

You are advised not to take any medication for treating acne

Avoid scratching and picking acne on your face as this leads to scars.

Do not wearing makeup, because make up clogs the pores.

Wash your face at least two times a day, every morning and night.

It’s advisable you consult your gynecologist for taking a medication. Depending on the need your gynecologist may prescribe a skin cream or refer to a dermatologist.
